All I can say is that, if it weren't for prostitutes, I'd probably still be a virgin. 

And what was your experience?

I grew up in an area which was predominantly Catholic. All the women I dated were mentally ingrained with the idea that sex before marriage was sinful. Being a confirmed bachelor, I had to look elsewhere for sex. I got to know several prostitutes and was a regular customer for years. It wasn't until the early 1990's that I met a younger woman who had liberal ideas about sex and enjoyed it even more than I did. We had a wonderful relationship for about three years, then separated on friendly terms when a job opportunity caused her to move away.
