There is no correlation between positivity/negativity and how successful someone is. My mom is a very hateful person, and she runs her own successful business. On the other hand, I am a very loving person, and I have nothing.

I think what people should be asking about is the type of intelligence and abilities to have to be successful. I'm shit at math, but when it comes to things like speaking in front of people, I shine and I can sway them easily to my side. I gained lots of leadership positions in the past because of that.
On the other hand we have Elon Musk who has Asperger's but still managed to kick ass. Maybe the key to success runs much deeper than that.
