Although the Islamic Republic has declared that it will not allow it because of “the double standard attitude of the West” on this issue. The U.N. has declared that it will launch an investigation on human right abuses of the government during the demonstrations, especially in the Kurdish region where the regime’s crackdown has been especially severe (just like in regions with Arab majority population).
+ I am hearing Iranian Kurds making declarations like “Today I am an Iranian first, than I am a Kurd”. Nobody seems to be able to look into a crystal ball and make divinations about the future of the country. But I increasingly have the feeling that this religious dictatorship (that has been seeking to export its ideology to foreign countries during its 40 years of existence) seems to have exhausted its lifespan.
