I remember the fiasco in Florida in the Year 2000, as my wife and I were glued to the television. If all the Greens had voted for Gore, imagine what our World would be like?? Maybe this deserves its own thread?
Right. Because of that dynamic, Trump running [I] would likely give the Democrat candidate, whoever that is, a good edge.
I personally don't think Trump will get the Republican nod. He's given too many hostages to fortune, and especially after this recent midterm, has made the GOP wonder how long -- or rather short -- his coattails are. If I were Republican I'd shitcan him ASAP, as politely as possible so as to not alienate his rabid fanbase who skew Republican as well. I'd want turnout, but without Der Donald at the top of the ticket.
