...an invitation?
One and One make Three
I remember being carried
by a will
that was not my own
I remember knowing
what may come
I would never be alone
And they told me a Savior had come
And they told me God's will be done
that all I am is a man
fallen from grace
that there was a plan
to set Heaven in place
Could I not rejoice in the Word
Could I not retell what I had heard
What price can it be too little to pay
To save another as you were once saved
I remember the tragedy that I once was
eyes to the sky
and the wondering why
I remember raising my hand high above
blowing a kiss
as I'm shaking my fist
screaming you cannot tell me were are all not love
And I told them their Savior never arrived
And I told them their ministry was cruelly derived
that all I am is a man
alone in this place
that there did span
both time and space
Can you not rejoice in being without word
Can you not see through the decpetion you heard
Any price is the one far too great to pay
to deny you are the god humanity must save
...atheist.
A little ditty I wrote elsewhere, kind of a "anti-footprints" thingy.
