How many eggs stay unhatched for…. How many days was the ark drifting around?

300 plus days?

Worse, 30days and 30nights.  A chick would hatch before it stopped raining.  The storm is my favorite part.  Fuck the boat.  Years ago I sat down and worked out what the atmospheric pressure would have to be like in a one month storm that flooded the world.  Imagine that every inch of the entire sky was a steam boiler that just exploded.

I’m sure R will come along soon to tell us it was global, and it wasn’t that much rain.  Just enough to run up over the riprap and get your socks wet.

incubation periods take any where from 9 to 80 days in larger birds. Plus there is a 10- 21 day period that an egg will stay viable, before it needs to be incubated.

This is if God doesn't step in and do anything to keep them viable longer than their normal dormancy period.

They were only in the ark a total of a 150 days. And if they hatched while on the ark so what.. 

Let's say a chicken egg that God did nothing to, went 10 days then was incubated another 3 weeks. so a total 4 weeks or 30 days into the 150 day or approx 5 month journey. that's 30 days of no feeding no cleaning up poop, nothing. then after they hatch 4 to 6 month later they start laying eggs again..

The point is for anywhere between 19 to 100 days  (dormant/incubation period) there is no need to feed care for or clean up after these birds.

If again God does nothing different. If you are looking for a magic act and in your mind god need to 'magic' something in this story, then have him 'magic' the dormancy period of the eggs.

Don't. as it truly makes no difference, other than making more work for Noah and his house inorder see to the needs of those eggs.
