I wonder why people don’t report NDEs when they’re nearly in a car crash, or their parachute nearly doesn’t open, or they’re nearly shot in the head. In each these and many other situations, people are ‘near death’.
The fact that NDEs only occur when the brain is on the verge of being shut down by the failure of other organs seems to strongly indicate that these experiences are brain-based, not soul-based.
