Another topic about gender?! And it is again by a professed Christian.
My stance is - why should I care? If someone wants to be a man or a woman it is their business. It doesn't bother me or anyone else.
What is concerning is why this is happening among religious people. Did your religious leaders tell you to hate this group of people? It does seem to me that the only way religion can function is if they have particular groups of people that they hate so that religion can seem useful for something and thus be protection against these hated people.
It is what I call "bogeyman politics". Something that Nazis used not only to make themselves seem useful but also to have someone to put the blame on for their incompetence (they were blaming Jews and gays even as they killed millions of them and portraying themselves as actual martyrs).
Needless to say that we see the same bogeyman politics with the MAGA movement and their incompetent Trump who portrays himself as infallible because he has groups of people to blame on.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
