I'll admit it was unreasonable of me to go "hey watch these documentaries and fact-check them yourself every time they make a claim"
I don't care for anything having to do with the Ancient Aliens TV show. I know von Däniken is not trustworthy. I haven't based anything I've said so far on anything from that show.
The Bible also mentions the very same omnidirectional flying machines.
Mauro Biglino is a famous biblical translator who has had direct access to the Vatican and worked directly for the Church. In his book, The Naked Bible, he goes into detail about the fact that the Bible doesn't speak about God but instead speaks about the Elohim, mortal beings with highly advanced technology. He thinks it's possible these were the ancient alien gods that caused such a stir across all the ancient cultures of the world, though he admits that the bible isn't fully clear whether the Elohim were of extraterrestrial origin. The "Glory of God", he explains, actually refers to one of the 20+ different types of flying machines. Specifically, the Glory of God was the flying machine used by Yahweh. Some of these flying machines were used as weapons. The Elohim fought each other for power over their respective territories on Earth. According to Biglino, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was perpetrated by the Elohim with something similar to an atomic bomb.
Providing verses from Hindu scripture seems like a moot point since we're all already in agreement that plenty of ancient cultures figured out some pretty amazing stuff with the scientific knowledge they had at the time. It won't make any difference. Will anyone really fight me on the point that there are documents belonging to Hindu scripture that gave detailed instructions on how to build an electric battery and how to use an electric battery to split water into its constituent gasses? It's like the very first thing that comes up when you google search "Agastya Samhita"
“Place a well-cleaned copper plate in an earthenware vessel. Cover it first by copper sulfate and then by moist sawdust. After that, put a mercury-amalgamated zinc sheet on top of the sawdust to avoid polarization. The contact will produce an energy known by the twin name of Mitra-Varuna. Water will be split by this current into Pranavayu and Udanavayu. A chain of one hundred jars is said to give a very effective force. (p. 422)”
