He may be a likable guy, but I've always had the opinion that his mind doesn't fire on all cylinders. His faux paux when campaigning for leader of the free world at the Sturgis Motorcycle rally comes to mind, where he offered up his wife to be "Miss Buffalo Chip", not realizing the sleeziness of the title.
