So how did the world begin? 
My answer is that science proves nothing can be created from nothing in our material world, so the only explanation is that something external created the world. And that is what we call God.

Science did explain that the world was created by particles from exploded stars.

But if you are talking about the universe then the universe always existed, even before the big bang. Before the big bang universe was in a state of very hot and dense matter that then started expanding.
