I think I've figured out what's wrong. My first post in this thread is dated August 23rd, today is September 23rd, I rather suspect the person who pays for the hosting does so on a monthly basis and has perhaps forgotten to or is unable to make a payment.
Edit: just saw Anjele's post she beat me to it. Note to self: read everything BEFORE commenting.
