You know, with what is happening in the US House of Representatives with finding a speaker, I think they are just trying to delay certain bills from being made or passed. They cannot do it forever, of course, but this must be some sort of tactic to avoid getting those bills made.
Also, the Republican party is known to have many sexist and racist people, yet there are women and people of other color than whites who are part of the republican party. With the stupid things the republican party has done, it feels like they are trying to drag such people into the party to do stupid things to make them look bad, while not claiming direct or indirect responsibility of any kind for how women and people of other color make themselves look bad after the white, male republicans get such people to join their party. Sure, such people that are not white or male republicans may join willingly, but I think they have been lied to by such people (even if they never met the politicians themselves, just listening to them on TV) or they don't know what they are getting themselves into.
I don't mean to be racist or sexist, myself, and I do realize this is just a mere thought. However, I do think women and people of color other than whites are being taken advantage of and used by the male, white republicans (whether they know it or not) just to make themselves or those like themselves look bad or worse than they really are, if not in a direct way.
