Right. So it's an assumption that giraffes don't come from nowhere. I'll still say that assumption is correct.

It's in the definition that it is assumed true.  You can assume all you like.  That doesn't make it necessarily correct.  For that you need evidence or argument.

Well I have evidence. Just not enough to prove my assumption is one hundred percent, undeniably true.
