I read, "transitional fossil;" I go, been there, done that.

In scientific terms, I accept the theory of evolution.

In metaphysical terms, I have faith in evolution and emergence. It's always a duality.

I have no faith in evolution at all. I am merely largely convinced by it. To be largely convinced is a thing rational people do that exist at a plane so much higher than those afflicted with faith can ever comprehend.

That's how it is with some atheists. There's always gotta be a moral high ground.

If you use my words to make war on the faithful, then I have no complaint. If you wish to make war with me, then be content to know that mine is the lowest plane.
