- Do you know the Morgan Jones Character in The Walking Dead Season 6?
The part with him being trained by his aikido teachers who ends up bitten by a zombie are actually my favorite in the whole series.
You know “All life are precious”, “Where there is life there is hope” (because all of us can decide to change)
I am part of those who need to believe that actually. No one can argue on what religion has become and what it is really doing to us on a daily basis.
But I chose to focus instead on what these people wanted to teach us in the first place. Because whether you like it or not there is nothing inside religion that is of interest to me other than that.
This reminds of this ultra-religious bigot who came in front of my high school when we were hanging out there just being the young adults that we were in those times with our cigarettes in our hands etc. The man was criticizing us in several ways.
Back then he was more of an amusement. But right now, his kind are making me sad more than anything else.
So I am a believer in the possibility and necessity of change. That’s all I am guilty of
What those people wanted to teach us in the first place, were the ethics of 7th century child molesters, slavers, and warlords. A feudal god for feudal kings in a feudal world. The main schism to this very day being a dispute between two princes who have both been dead for over a thousand years. It's a testament to the decency of people in general that what came out of that cauldron wasn't even worse. You're looking for the good in the wrong place. It's not in magic book and it never was.
Whenever you pontificate on the deeper meanings of magic book, you're just telling us how you would have written a better one, for example - and most of the time I believe you...until you start saying silly shit about there being no such thing as islamic terrorism.
