There is no need.
Atheism is *a response* to theistic claims.
Fundamentally, atheist don't claim that gods do not exist. Because we are not making a claim, we have no burden of proof.
Theists claim that gods *do* exist, and thus have a burden of proof to demonstrate that they do.
All atheists simply lack belief in gods, i.e. we're not buying the theistic claims that they do.

BTW, you do not capitalize "atheist", unless it's the first word in a sentence.
