The pro-blue media doesn't seem to need to have lied. It seems to me that the coterie of aides and assistants have shielded him a bit. Not much time on the campaign trail, requiring interviewers to accede to questions beforehand ... whether that's intended to hide Biden's senescence or a natural defensiveness by a campaign under pressure, it's a bad look either way. The cynic in me certainly suspects some obfuscation.
