No small part of why I voted for Trump is because I was deeply and tragically WRONG about Bush and the war in Iraq. Trump is both the anti-war president and a tough negotiator that I believe can avoid WWIII and favorable trade deals in impending world wide demographic collapse.
Lucky enough not to start any new wars, I'll give him. Anti-war? That shoe doesn't seem to fit.
He upped airstrikes in Afghanistan, resulting in a 330% increase in civilian deaths. I his four years, 2,243 drone strikes were carried out, compared to Obama's 1,878 in eight years. He brought the US closer to nuclear war (with N. Korea) than at any time since the Cuban Missile Crisis, for no particularly good reason. Withdrawing from our nonproliferation agreement with Iran, which scaled up its provocations in the region and its nuclear program.
Trump incited a failed coup in Venezuela, Congress passed a war powers resolution to try to end his support for the war in Yemen, and they passed another to hold him back from a potential war with Iran after he OK'd the assassination of Soleimani on Iraqi territory, which led to Iraq demanding we exit.
And that's not even getting into releasing 5,000 Taliban fighters and committing to a timetable for a withdrawal from Afghanistan that he wouldn't have to honor, and illegally drawing down US forces in Afghanistan to 1,200 before leaving office.
I'd hate to see what he would do if her were pro-war. Or unrestrained by 'adults in the room'.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
