My wife is the entire HR department at her business (also, CEO,CFO, managing director and every other corporate officer you can think of).

She once summarily sacked an employee for using an ethnic slur - which I won’t repeat here - about a Maori customer. Seems a good practice to follow.

Re some of your other remarkably stupid comments:

It is ABSOLUTELY part of a boss's job to - in a sense - parent a company's employees. If the boss's chief responsibility it to maximize production/profits, part of that is to take steps to provide a positive working environment. This why so many companies have HR departments.

I respect your right to be stupid, but I think it may be inadvisable to do so at the top of your voice.
