Then I have to go even higher if possible, or I will persist. Whoever or whatever it takes to hold them accountable, if that costs me my job, then so be it. (though the scenario you're putting forward is pie in the sky, most bosses won't put up with asshole behavior because they themselves are not an assholes)

If accountability simply wasn't an option - regardless how far up the totem pole you go, the bosses don't see it as being offensive - I would guess you would quit the company at that point?

I also have to ask, how would you define racism offensive enough to go to a boss over? What would be a general rule of thumb for when it crosses the line and becomes an offense?
