It is Biden's fault, he's still the president right? And the Democrats still control the Senate don't they? It's still a month before Trump takes office and tries to fix the things that they've fucked up. Inflation, the border, Ukraine, Israel, and illegal immigrants, etc.
First, all financial bills must, by the Constitution, must start in the House and not the Senate.
Second, if Trump wants to avoid a "spending spree", why is he trying to remove spending limits? Looks to me like he's trying to set up blame.
Third, why is Musk, an unelected mouthpiece, talking to Congress at all?
Trump doesn't want to "fix things". He rejected a border plan last year, after all, and like Musk, used a loud voice to steer Republicans to vote against what they said they wanted.
