Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote:What was the point of mentioning it at all if it wasn't to support your position?
it was to simply say that any artifacts found at that time won't be in good condition and can be dismissed as frauds or claimed they could have belonged to someone else. also how can you take the works of a carpenter and contribute it to them 2000 years later? assuming they actually survived. what artifacts could possibly be found that could be said they belonged to Jesus with absolute certainty?
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
