Just spitballing here, but seeing as how one of the satisfying aspects of evangelical belief is the evangelism itself..you might find your mental state improved by finding some other cause to evangelize for. What other things do you feel strongly about, that you could bond with a community over as a shared interest, and maybe do a little good in the world?
