Who can you really trust beside yourself?

Have to agree mate... certainly not governments. And personal friends and relatives?? Well. Been there done that got the T-shirt and the DVD. Still I would like to think that the majority of people everywhere are reasonable...I am so often disappointed. meh

Well, I speak of myself in two terms.
I am, myself, an individual. And I, as an individual, am part of a larger nation that is compromised of kin in blood and tongue.
I rather put my trust in these.
Not that I do not trust my relatives to assist me in dire times of need, but I rather trust myself first.
Governments...Well, as I said, with the current system of democracy, governmetns come and go, with public opinion ever changing...So what really matters? I don't trust them, but I'd rather have every Turk with a healthy measure of skepticism towards such..politicians, whose loyalties are always under question, in my eyes, at least.
