Fun fact: King Louie in Walt Disney’s Jungle Book was originally going to be played by Louis Armstrong. They changed the casting to Louis Prima after they thought for a couple seconds about the implications of having a black person being cast as an ape who wants to be human. So, now the monkeys ended up more Italian-coded than Black.
