I get that people are going to misuse this a lot when they just mean "killed a whole lot" and that doesn't really bother me. When they start saying that "the latest snow storm totally decimated Toronto" it has lost all meaning.



If Toronto were ever to be truly decimated, it would make headlines ‘round the world.
