...to make Amazon show me what I want. I have a set of computer speakers with a headphone jack. I want to listen to the TV through those speakers, but I want to be cordless. Bluetooth is not an option on this TV. I want a system where the device plugs into the jack and then the headphones talk to the device cordlessly. (Yeah, I'm a bit of a Luddite.)

Hints and/or breadcrumbs are solicited.

Lots of wireless headphones about with aren't bluetooth. (rf)

The charging base connects with the normal audio jack (3mm or 5mm).

My Logitech G933 also do that but you pay for the extra bling.

If Bluetooth isn't an option, is it an adaptor that you're looking for to help your tv wirelessly talk to your headphones?

After a little more searching...

Something like this will send your TV audio to bluetooth.

Then this to attach to the wired speakers.

No, I want my speakers to talk to a set of headphones. Plug a thingy into the headphone jack and it talks to wireless headphones. I don't know what the thingy would be called.

Still bluetooth. My TV won't acknowledge any speakers exist.

You'll need a transmitter that connects to the audio out on your TV coupled with a receiver that connects to the speakers/headphones. It would be easier, and maybe cheaper, to just buy a pair of wireless headphones with a transmitter/charger base.

I used to use one of these for my walkman. It charges via a microusb port.
