This is one of the reasons why I think democracy in and of itself is just flat out illusion.
Sure, if i HAVE to live in a democracy, then I want to be able to vote labor unions and shit. But if they are going to play games like this then the illusion merely gets worse.
Meh, Democracy only really works well with a small handful of people, and even then it isnt guarenteed to make everyone happy.
