I'm quite comfortable that there is no god, no heaven, and no hell - and if it turns out I'm wrong, I'm OK with that. I want nothing to do with the god YHWH as described in the bible. Heaven will do just fine without me, I'm sure. Blasphemy is just one more way to guarantee that I won't have to spend an eternity with that genocidal cocksucker.

I feel precisely the same way.

Not only that, but here's a very interesting thought. It will probably only be truly understood by highly intelligent people but that's ok. God is supposed to be highly intelligent too, so clearly God would understand it and that's the whole point to it,...

Let's imagine that the God of the Hebrews who wrote the Bible truly does exist, and truly is "All-wise", "All-just", and "All-loving".

Well duh? Their scriptures surely don't convey that very well at all. On the contrary their scriptures make God out to be a jealous egoistical male-chauvinist pig who couldn't have a wise thought to save his own soul.

Therefore (and this is the part that so many people don't seem to understand), if I reject that utterly stupid ignorant portrait of "God", then I would not be rejecting the "TRUE", "All-wise", "All-just", and "All-loving" God anyway. All I would be rejection is a totally distorted and false picture of a "god" who can't be anything like the REAL God anyway.

So rejecting the bible because it's a picture of an asinine God, could not in any way be taken by any REAL "All-wise", "All-just", and "All-loving" God as being a rejection of HIM anyway.

I mean if someone wrote a book about me that made me look like an asshole and you came to me and told me that you hate me because of what you read in that stupid book, I'd just tell you, "I don't blame you, I'd hate me if I were actually like that too".

In short, I do NOT reject any truly "All-wise", "All-just", and "All-loving" God.

But I don't see what the Bible has to do with that at all because it simply doesn't portray God in that light.
Christian - A moron who believes that an all-benevolent God can simultaneously be a hateful jealous male-chauvinistic pig.
Wiccan - The epitome of cerebral evolution having mastered the magical powers of the universe and is in eternal harmony with the mind of God.
Atheist - An ill-defined term that means something different to everyone who uses it.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
Clearly Jesus (a fictitious character or otherwise) will forgive people if they merely know not what they do
For the Bible Tells us so!
