Well, it is customary in my country to give "alms" in certain times of the year.
Last year, I received about 150 TL(about 85$), during the month of Ramadan, as I was not able to return home during the holidays, I had to stay and study.
The person(anonymous) gave this to the director(?) of the dormitory, who gave it to me, as he thought that I might be the best candidate to give this money to, like, he knew I would spend it wisely.
Of course, knowing that this money came from a devout and kind individual, I spent it with care.
Such individuals exist, I'm glad they do.
