It does matter, because the deluded masses make such a huge issue of it regarding the rights of others, from birth control to artificial insemination (love the pope's recent talk on that, btw), to abortion, to educating children (creationism has NO place in a secular classroom unless we are also going to teach ancient Navajo myths as very real, too), to showing up at funerals to harass those mourning their dead.
