When I was about 12:
Sunday morning,doorbell,answer the door.
Dad (from other room) ; "Who is it son? "
Me ; "Jehova's Witnesses dad"
Dad (loudly ) "GET THE DOG OUT!"
JW's' hot footed it down the street.
Another time a couple of JW's made the mistake of approaching dad as he was out the front watering the garden. Exit two soaked JW's.
Dad hated JW's because one told him that as a Catholic he was not a real Christian and was going to hell.
Of course,that was all long ago,in a more innocent and less litigious time.
PS: in the early 70's, my brother and his mate answered the door in the nude to a couple of persistent Mormons.
