What I want for my daughter, if I had one, which I don't plan to, is what Hector said about his son - to paraphrase, that they will say she was greater than her mother. That she will DO better things, and not worry what others think about how she dresses or with whom or how often she decides to have sex. That she will feel comfortable in her own skin and develop her own style and feel herself beloved and beautiful. That other people's designations of "skanky" or "modest" have no bearing on her because she's too busy being strong and healthy and happy. That she realizes that being productive in the world is not constrained by other people's rules and regulations. That she will know that I will love her.
I hope to whatever powers there are or aren't that she "starts" her confidence "earlier" than I did, that she bulldozes past people like you and blazes a trail so bright it offends your eyes and blinds you. I want her smile to be brighter and her presence to be the "light in dark places." I want her to never suffer the feeling that she is somehow less than you because of your arbitrary and subjective opinion, but I hope I give her the compassion and patience to deal with people like you. None of those things are necessarily separate or impossible to attain whilst maintaining some subjective idea of virtue and modesty, or having fun.
You have a delusion that many have. You and they want all that for your children while at the same time, not controlling your own passions and passing down such a debt burden onto the next generation that they will not be able to get themselves out of the hole we are putting them in.
They will shine all right but no one will notice because it is dark in the hole we are putting them in.
Keep your delusion as you spend their wealth.
