This doesn't bode well.

You can hear screams over the internet? We must be typing REALLY hard!

I find I can cope with life pretty well without supernatural intervention. If he's not too busy, maybe The Lord could be a shield against childhood leukemia. That would impress me.

Peace and love to you, too, ma'am. I have to say I have lots of things to think about, so I can't promise to return the favor.

Believing first works with pretty much any God. Got anything stronger?

Are you familiar with the term 'passive-aggressive'? What about 'poe'?

Y'know, if there was a living Jesus with divine powers to respond to your request, that might work. Pro tip: the blood-pouring imagery may have been impressive when sacrificing goats was in vogue, now it's just creepy.

Definitely passive-aggressive here. Are you sure it's really Jesus guiding your responses? Because I'm definitely detecting pride.

That's funny insanity but I'm married so don't bother lol
I suspect you may not be qualified to make that diagnosis over the internet, but I hate to jump to conclusions. Would you quote something you think confirms your claim, please?

I find I receive many good things without even asking. That's not why I don't pray though. I don't pray because either I'm praying to nothing, which is useless, or the omnipotent, omniscient being who created the universe and has a plan for everything takes requests, which is disturbing.

There may be some confusion here. I think you want the angry atheists down the street. Most of us are just skeptics and smart-alecs. I'm glad you got over your anger though. For most atheists who go through it, it's just a phase, but if you needed to believe in divine intervention to get over yours, whatever works I guess. I worry about you a little though. There is no such thing as demons. Back in Jesus's day they didn't have a natural explanation for things like epilepsy, schizophrenia, or cholera; so they thought they were caused by evil spirits. Turns out they aren't.

You're not going to win any souls here with a cheerful attitude. We deal in evidence.

Would you quote one of these testimonies specifically, please?

You seem to be at odds with the Bible on this one. Proverbs says 'the fool says in his heart there is no God'. You know what's in our hearts better than we do or a proverb that made it in the Bible does? I'm detecting pride again. And projection. Did you call yourself an atheist when you were angry at God? Because I've never understood that. I was kind of angry at Kim Jong Il, but it never occured to me to claim not to believe in him. Are people who say they don't believe in Santa just angry at him?

You probably think you're a good multi-tasker, but studies show everyone does better when they focus on one task at a time.
