Are theists by nature simply insecure?

In a world where every action have a logic explanation. The atheism stand is the one that requires extraordinary evidence. Nothing in this world happens by itself, but the world itself did for no reason what so ever. That is one extraordinary claim that I would like to see backed up. It doesnt even stand to "common sense".

The atheist stance requires precisely no evidence what so ever as it simply states a disbelief in God. You're the one who is making this extraordinary claim about a supernatural being who exists outside of space and time who created all of existence through sheer force of will.

Oh, and for some reason, this omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent being who conceived the entirety of the Cosmos from it's first nanosecond to the very end of time itself, who knows the position, history and fate of everything from the mightiest galaxy to the smallest sub-atomic particle, who not only knows your inner most thoughts but also every thought you will ever have, for some unfathomable reason that cannot be comprehended by our feeble minds, he really hates gays

Yeah, that makes perfect sense.
