I have a Mac. Mainly for the operating system, but also for the general build quality and support. I also like the fact that it is based on UNIX, and therefore has a command line, and a load of Linux programs also work on it.
If you want to talk about learning more about computers, use Linux or UNIX based operating systems. Windows holds the user back in far too many ways.
How does Windows hold users back? I've always used Windows units, but have been curious about Apples.
