I do lots of things on windows with a command line. Windows has no where near the complexity of Unix, agreed. Network wide configuration of windows is mostly command line too. Mac OS is GUI based/ born too... they even lay claim to it.
Viruses, Global installer. Def Unix. the installer I vastly prefer too. I never can get over how Linux autodetects most hardware where Windows will always necessitate a search for drivers. That said my main peeve with Linux was the problems with wireless cards.
With Mac OS I've had a few freezes. And support just tell you to wipe and start over > unacceptable. Web support is crap for Macs IMO.
