No 'we' are not, in my opinion.. Being sure is merely personal certitude. Unless supported by credible evidence, "I'm sure" is meaningless as a bald statement.
A skeptic,I avoid truth statements much as I can. That is because I'm unaware any absolute truths.Being sure is dogmatic in my opinion. I try to avoid that kind of thinking,with mixed success.
The best I can say is "I'm sure as I can be" or "X seems to be the case based on available evidence." I try to avoid asserting "X IS the case" Consequently, I assert "I do not believe in God(s) due to the lack of credible evidence". I do NOT claim to have any knowledge about the existence of God(s)
