It's not that I doubt you. Believe me, that is not the case, but how do they want to re work engineering and why?
Engineering, like so many other scientific disciplines, relies on the fundamental laws of nature (i.e., thermodynamics, and many others). If you've read any of these creationist web sites, you will note that they are trying to refute these fundamental laws in ways that can affect even applied scientific disciplines such as engineering. I'll be the first to admit that they have not made strong inroads in this area for obvious reasons, but that hasn't stopped them from trying.
