Not really. Say I owned property and the tax man was threatening to take it away. I also have a crazy ass neighbor who can't take away my property, but dresses up like the little girl from The Exorcist and stares at me from her backyard every day. Tax man is bigger threat, neighbor is scarier.

So you're saying that we, The English, found a man claiming back his homeland using admittedly effective guerilla tactics more fearsome than a French nutcase conquering England, our homeland, with fuck off big cannons to blast us to hell and back.
I find that somewhat flawed and unrealistic.
