i rarely get annoyed and most of what i say is with a giggle, so my "belligerent defensiveness" was actually light-hearted. not knowing me, i don't expect you to know that. i like everybody's kind, but it's safe to assume i'm not crazy about you.
Heh not to be a jackass or anything, but I don't see how you can have a go at Pad's grammar when you never capitalise the letter "I"
You also use "u" instead of you quite frequently also.
Just an observation.
As for the topic, raise your kids however you damn well want, as long as it is not harmful to the children in question. Is this harmful? I can't see it as being harmful. You're teaching your children that with hard work comes reward. If people want to twist it round that this is somehow 'bribery' then all of our fucking lives we are being 'bribed' to work and pay taxes.
If I was given 20 quid for every A I'd of got in school, I'd probably be in Oxford or Cambridge by now.
