This can be seen as a company making a revolutionary air conditioning where only they understand how it works. But then we could get an external engineer to tell us 'yep, their design has no flaws' which then allows us to trust this new idea. Now, this idea of Jesus I have no problems with, but there's no external sources that tell me 'yep, this is for real'. There's nothing to justify why I should even consider giving it a shot.
What ever you want to believe, but until I tried, I could not be sure they knew what they were talking about.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
