they're both valid papers from reputable programs that give very valid hypothesis as to what happened.

I'll take the one from MIT any day of the week.

of course, lol, many people would. but i don't just accept the bazant's based on the school which put them out, i read them both for relevance and make a choice based on what i feel checks out better.
