It is a little strange that the buildings did go down so easy, for example even since it did get hot enough to essentially melt the center column in both buildings how did the center column on the floors below get crushed. Even from the sheer force from the floors above I'm not sure it would be enough to bring down the center columns below. Those things are thick as hell(25 meters squared in area), it is interesting to think about.

It wasn't simply a regular fire. The heat was enough to completely melt the metal columns at the center of the building because of the planes being almost completely full of jet fuel+the kinetic energy.
However, I still think it is possible that the fire's did spread enough and bring down enough weight to bring the rest of the building down. And I am unwilling to accept a conspiracy theory which makes so many unsubstantial assumptions in regard to the government among other things... Simply not enough reason here.
