That is utterly ridiculous. You might as well say that atheists don't like to drive cars.

What I find ludicrous (nice term thanks!) about atheists is that they are agnostics as regards God and atheists only as regards Christianity. The reason is ignorance of the history of religion because they do not like to read about religion.
There are exemptions, of course, but since Dawkins himself is not one of them we can very well forget about the exemptions.
Dawkins was right in writing what he wrote of the God of the OT but he obviously failed to study the rest of the ancient texts or he would not had been surprised with the deeds of the God of the Jews.

Atheists do like driving cars but they do not like reading and so they believe what they are told just as the theists do. Atheists believe that their ancestors deified the elements of nature and theists that the deity created the elements of nature. No difference !!
