Wc Wrote:So when I choose to selflessly help my fellow man, sometimes at my own expense, I'm only doing it because I'm your god's puppet?
You never know, not really, He does work in mysterious ways.
GC Wrote:We are the ones at fault that the world is the shape it is, and you think God's suppose to intervene, why, it's our mess.
Wc Wrote:You've gone off the original topic - we're talking about being saved from eternal condemnation not the trivial ongoings in this supposed finite realm. The stakes are high we risk going to Hell and your god's doing nothing, apparently.
Sorry I misunderstood, now to the subject, you're right the stakes are high, higher than you understand at this point. It's not God's fault that you're not listening, many have shared the gospel on this site.
GC Wrote:Why do you assume that God's passion and drive would ever wan. He will withdraw the opportunity in His perfect timing through His fore knowledge.
Wc Wrote:You've just answered my question. Right, so at what point does he withdraw the opportunity because he no longer loves the unrepentant sinner and gives them up to their own ways?
He doesn't withdraw due to not loving people, He will withdraw once He's satisfied one has had enough chances. Like I said above, in His perfect timing and through His foreknowledge.
GC Wrote:God desires our love, worship, obedience and ect., those things we can withhold from Him. Outside of the things we withhold from God, I do not know what He would desire since He can create anything He would want.
WC Wrote:He does not desire everyone's love because he knows that's never going to happen. He only loves the elect right?
Wrong and you know it.
GC Wrote:Some people can make a decision quicker than others, your statement is not relevant about the amount of time, also God's foreknowledge comes into the equation. For those that die very young, well there destination is heaven.
Wc Wrote:So their choice, their freewill, to make the concious decision whether to love or hate god was denied then right?
They are not old enough, that's what you asked about.
GC Wrote:I'm sorry it makes no sense to you, I really wish it did. God is because He has always been, do not expect a better answer than this from me, my mind can not conceive such vastness.
Wc Wrote:Well then its pointless continuing that discussion isn't it? Look at it from my perspective for a change - I have no idea what you're talking about exactly and it doesn't help when you admit you also have no idea what you're talking about.
I did not say I have no idea, why God is, is beyond anyone's comprehension.
GC Wrote:I believe this one to be down to earth, not to rich for our blood so to speak. Matthew 13:3-23 is a parable about a farmer, read all the verses they fit your life.
Wc Wrote:Nope, try again please.
Nope, I could keep them coming but your reply will just be the same.
GC Wrote:I'm not sure what you're relating to in the last sentence?
Wc Wrote:I don't understand why you want god or heaven.
I believe I've thoroughly explained why many times.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
