Osman Batur, a hero for our cause, fighting the red menace to save his people from bondage. He was killed by the chinese after having his ears and arms cut off, and finally beheaded, and archived martyrdom.

Another, even less liked one would be Enver Paşa, a prominent Turkist, although not the best military leader, who has fought and died for the freedom of Turks in Turkestan.

Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
