I remember seeing an episode of the history of the freemasons on the history channel a over 5-6 years ago and found it interesting. But as you are stating that tv shows give false information.

He says it's false. I know that one show on the History channel had a female Mason on there. Females aren't even allowed to be a Mason. They can belong to the Eastern Star if their father, brother, or son is a Mason. I was invited but I'm Atheist so I don't qualify. I didn't tell them I was Atheist but I just declined to join. The Eastern Star isn't as secretive as the Masons. They basically get together and eat and then raise money to give to childrens charities.

Oh yeah you disagree with giving handouts to slackers but then your fukking other half giving generously to charity is perfectly okEvidently you haven't read a Libertarian manifesto. We seek to remove welfare and encourage public charity instead. The government should have no responsibility in giving money to people who refuse to work.
Yes well said Adrian.
Frodo there's a HUGE difference between taxing the people to provide care for "less fortunate" citizens in a country and a charitable donation. That difference is that someone is giving money freely to help someone they want to help. Libertarians agree with charity. We feel that is what people who don't have money or food should rely on. This is a way to keep people who don't deserve charity from getting it. How many people want to donate to a crack whore mom who spends her money on crack and can't feed her kids? I wouldn't donate anything to them. I'd call child protective services and hope they put the kids in a home with someone who can afford to love and feed them. I would however donate money to a woman who's husband just died and she lost her income and her kids are hungry. Taxing people gives money to those crack heads...charity usually doesn't because the are too lazy and too high to even think about charity.
