We know he was surprised because of the bible... and if he was not surprised, then he was wrong to let it happen the way he did. The Holocaust? He must have been surprised, or else he was just plain wrong (wether in character or in knowledge). His 'playing surprised' is a human observation. We cannot know such a thing. He lets it play out because this is the natural path for things to follow. He created the environment and what happens in it is a result of physical laws playing out. His actuality was pure good. From our egotistical perspective some of the detail looks bad. Like we have little or no concern for the welfare of the parasites dependant on us for survival. Sure we aspire to eco balance.. that sometimes means sufferring on some level - this doesn't make us evil - our intention was good. Much like the balance of nature.

Nothingness is exactly that: the lack of anything. Outside of everything... what do you have? Absolutely nothing. Is God nothing then? If he is nothing... then nothing exists as something. And that something is then part of everything, which is inside of nothing.God is non temporal. He is not ever somethingness. You cannot formulate hypothesis for existance in this reality, well you can but I'd say it's futile, because what we can know and have narrowed it down to, is non temporality.
For nothingness to not be empty: it must disbecome nothingness.
